ELECTRIC FENCE COC · EAGLE CANYON GOLF ESTATE
Questions before you book.
Practical answers for owners, sellers and property managers.
Should a sectional-title owner contact the estate office or managing agent?+
Start with the managing agent for the scheme's records and ask them to identify any estate-managed perimeter involvement. The correct route depends on the system concerned.
Does an Eagle Canyon address tell you how many energisers to inspect?+
No. Equipment and circuit extent need to be identified from the actual installation and its records. The estate name cannot establish that scope.
Can an older contractor-access notice be used to book a weekend?+
Confirm current access and work arrangements directly with the estate before booking. We do not treat historical published guidance as a current permission.
Can the same visit resolve missing documents and physical defects?+
Tell us about both when enquiring. Document review, inspection and any repair approval need to be arranged together; certification depends on the inspection outcome.
Is your electric fence alarming beside a sectional-title unit?+
Tell the managing agent which unit is nearby and when the alarm occurs. They can identify the shared system and arrange electric fence fault finding with the right estate or scheme contact.
Who can issue an electric fence certificate of compliance?+
A registered electric fence system installer may issue an electric fence compliance certificate after the required inspection and testing. An ordinary electrical COC is a separate document.
Will the inspection fee include repairs?+
Ask for the inspection, any repairs and any return visit to be itemised in the quote. The work required depends on what is found; a price should not assume that the fence will pass before it has been inspected.
