Before the appointment, collect earlier certificates, repair reports and any available installation descriptions. Separate them by the system they concern rather than putting every security document under the unit number. If the records do not clearly identify a fence, say so; unclear paperwork is a reason to investigate the scope, not to promise a duplicate certificate.
For a shared installation, agree who receives the findings and who may approve repairs. Owners can help by reporting visible damage, but a neighbouring unit’s permission does not resolve access or authority for the whole complex. Where fence testing affects monitoring, the responsible security contact should coordinate the test and return to normal operation.
