ELECTRIC FENCE COC · FEATHERBROOKE ESTATE
Questions before you book.
Practical answers for owners, sellers and property managers.
Does Featherbrooke's perimeter fence mean my stand has its own electric fence?+
No. The estate describes communal perimeter security. Establish whether your stand has any separate equipment before requesting a private-fence inspection.
Can I send only my house electrical COC?+
Send it if relevant, but also identify the electric-fence document being requested. The house installation and the estate perimeter need their respective records.
Can the inspector use my normal visitor invitation?+
Confirm the correct contractor or service-provider procedure with the estate office. An invitation should not be assumed to cover equipment access or authority to test communal security.
Who should arrange work on the outer estate fence?+
Refer that enquiry to the estate's authorised management contact. Wesslink needs an agreed scope and responsible representative before inspecting or quoting for that installation.
Is your electric fence alarming near Featherbrooke’s shared boundary?+
Report an alarm from the shared perimeter to estate management. For separate equipment at your stand, contact Wesslink about electric fence fault finding and tell us when the alarm occurs. Management must arrange access and authorise any investigation of communal equipment.
Who can issue an electric fence certificate of compliance?+
A registered electric fence system installer may issue an electric fence compliance certificate after the required inspection and testing. An ordinary electrical COC is a separate document.
Will the inspection fee include repairs?+
Ask for the inspection, any repairs and any return visit to be itemised in the quote. The work required depends on what is found; a price should not assume that the fence will pass before it has been inspected.
