ELECTRIC FENCE COC · MIDSTREAM MEADOWS
Questions before you book.
Practical answers for owners, sellers and property managers.
Is your electric fence alarming again after a recent repair?+
Report the exact message and when it returned. Include the earlier work details so the technician can investigate the recurrence in context. Do not repeatedly reset or alter equipment to make the warning disappear.
Should the same component be replaced again?+
Ask for an assessment of the recurring problem before ordering parts. The technician should explain the findings and why a proposed replacement or further repair addresses them.
Can an intermittent fault be inspected if it has stopped?+
Explain the pattern and provide the recorded alerts. The available history can guide inspection even when the symptom is absent. Ask what follow-up information is needed if the problem recurs.
Do I need an electric fence compliance certificate after every call-out?+
Explain the purpose of the attendance and what work is proposed. Ask Wesslink which inspection and documents are appropriate rather than assuming every diagnostic visit has the same deliverables.
What should I retain after the problem is addressed?+
Keep the findings, completed repair details and any electric fence certificate of compliance issued following the required checks. Those records help distinguish a future new fault from the issue already investigated.
Who can issue an electric fence certificate of compliance?+
A registered electric fence system installer may issue an electric fence compliance certificate after the required inspection and testing. An ordinary electrical COC is a separate document.
Will the inspection fee include repairs?+
Ask for the inspection, any repairs and any return visit to be itemised in the quote. The work required depends on what is found; a price should not assume that the fence will pass before it has been inspected.
