ELECTRIC FENCE COC · MONAVONI
Questions before you book.
Practical answers for owners, sellers and property managers.
Is your electric fence alarming with a battery or service warning?+
Record the exact indication and equipment model, then contact Wesslink. Electric fence fault finding can establish what needs attention. Do not assume every service warning means the battery is the only issue.
Can I use any battery that fits inside the box?+
Ask for the component suitable for the equipment to be specified. Physical size alone does not establish suitability, and the enclosure should not be opened for a trial replacement by an unqualified person.
Can a separate keypad be replaced without changing the energiser?+
The installed equipment and compatibility need assessment. Provide both model details where available and ask what the proposed repair includes.
Will a new energiser include an electric fence compliance certificate?+
Ask whether the quotation includes the required inspection, tests and certification. Supplying a new unit and certifying the resulting fence installation are different parts of the work.
What records should accompany replacement equipment?+
Keep the model information, operating guidance and completed-work description, with any electric fence certificate of compliance issued. This helps a future technician identify what is actually installed.
Who can issue an electric fence certificate of compliance?+
A registered electric fence system installer may issue an electric fence compliance certificate after the required inspection and testing. An ordinary electrical COC is a separate document.
Will the inspection fee include repairs?+
Ask for the inspection, any repairs and any return visit to be itemised in the quote. The work required depends on what is found; a price should not assume that the fence will pass before it has been inspected.
