ELECTRIC FENCE COC · RADIOKOP
Questions before you book.
Practical answers for owners, sellers and property managers.
Can an electric fence compliance certificate enquiry include work done while I was away?+
Yes. Provide the available work information and explain any uncertainty. The relevant installation needs assessment, with necessary repairs and further inspection addressed before certification can be completed.
Should the new work record stay with the electric fence certificate of compliance?+
Keep the completed-work description and appropriate documents together. Retain older papers as history, while making the current installation and any later alterations clear.
Is your electric fence alarming after you return to Radiokop?+
Report the symptom and what has already been observed safely. Leave unfamiliar settings and connections unchanged. Do not ask a caretaker to reproduce an event or reset the installation repeatedly to demonstrate the problem.
Can repairs be arranged if nobody knows when the warning began?+
Yes. Explain that the timing is unknown and describe the current condition. Available records can help, but you do not need to invent a history before asking for a professional assessment.
Who can issue an electric fence certificate of compliance?+
A registered electric fence system installer may issue an electric fence compliance certificate after the required inspection and testing. An ordinary electrical COC is a separate document.
Will the inspection fee include repairs?+
Ask for the inspection, any repairs and any return visit to be itemised in the quote. The work required depends on what is found; a price should not assume that the fence will pass before it has been inspected.
