ELECTRIC FENCE COC · RANDPARK RIDGE
Questions before you book.
Practical answers for owners, sellers and property managers.
Is RRVA the contact for every Randpark Ridge fence?+
No such assumption should be made. RRVA publishes a defined territory, and property-level responsibility still needs to be identified within it.
Does neighbourhood security replace a private electric-fence inspection?+
No. Patrols and community systems do not establish the condition of a separate private installation or the scope of its certificate.
Can a street leader approve work on my neighbour's fence?+
Confirm authority with the responsible owner or organisation. A community communication role should not be taken as permission to alter someone else's installation.
What if I cannot tell where the shared system ends?+
Send the available records and ask the responsible management contact to help define the installation. Wesslink can then discuss an appropriate assessment scope without guessing ownership.
Is your electric fence alarming beside a community boundary?+
Give the exact location and tell us whether the fence belongs to a home, complex or community area, if known. Wesslink can inspect the reported problem through electric fence fault finding. For a shared system, ask the responsible manager to authorise the work and arrange access.
Who can issue an electric fence certificate of compliance?+
A registered electric fence system installer may issue an electric fence compliance certificate after the required inspection and testing. An ordinary electrical COC is a separate document.
Will the inspection fee include repairs?+
Ask for the inspection, any repairs and any return visit to be itemised in the quote. The work required depends on what is found; a price should not assume that the fence will pass before it has been inspected.
