ELECTRIC FENCE COC · RIVERGLADES ESTATE
Questions before you book.
Practical answers for owners, sellers and property managers.
Will an inspection of my Riverglades unit include the estate perimeter?+
Only an expressly agreed and authorised scope can cover communal equipment. Explain that requirement before booking rather than assuming it is part of a unit inspection.
Does working perimeter detection prove the fence can be certified?+
An operating security feature and an electric-fence inspection answer different questions. The relevant installation must be assessed before a certification outcome is given.
Who should receive the report after communal work?+
Agree the recipient with the estate's authorised representative, and arrange any document copy required for your transaction through the appropriate management channel.
Can I book using an old visitor-access instruction?+
Check the current procedure with the estate office. Published visitor information helps preparation but should not be treated as permission to inspect or alter shared equipment.
Is your electric fence alarming along the Riverglades perimeter?+
Report the location and alarm times to estate management. Wesslink can undertake electric fence fault finding on the shared system when the authorised representative arranges access and security coordination. Leave the equipment for the attending professional to inspect.
Who can issue an electric fence certificate of compliance?+
A registered electric fence system installer may issue an electric fence compliance certificate after the required inspection and testing. An ordinary electrical COC is a separate document.
Will the inspection fee include repairs?+
Ask for the inspection, any repairs and any return visit to be itemised in the quote. The work required depends on what is found; a price should not assume that the fence will pass before it has been inspected.
