ELECTRIC FENCE COC · THE DOME, NORTHGATE
Questions before you book.
Practical answers for owners, sellers and property managers.
Is a Northgate Shopping Centre instruction enough for work at the Dome?+
Do not assume so. Confirm the authority for the exact property and installation. Nearby destinations should be treated separately unless the responsible parties establish a shared arrangement.
Can a customer appointment provide contractor access?+
A vehicle-viewing appointment does not establish permission to inspect security equipment. Arrange technical attendance with the authorised premises representative.
Should vehicles beside a fence be moved before the visit?+
Describe the access need and let the responsible site team coordinate any movement. The required clearance depends on the actual inspection area and must be arranged safely.
Can older event-venue paperwork be discarded?+
Keep potentially relevant records intact until their relationship to the current installation is understood. Current operational records and inspection findings should explain any differences rather than erase the history.
Is your electric fence alarming beside a vehicle storage area?+
Give the site contact the exact location and alarm times. Wesslink can inspect the affected fence during electric fence fault finding. Ask the site team to approve the work and arrange access around parked vehicles.
Who can issue an electric fence certificate of compliance?+
A registered electric fence system installer may issue an electric fence compliance certificate after the required inspection and testing. An ordinary electrical COC is a separate document.
Will the inspection fee include repairs?+
Ask for the inspection, any repairs and any return visit to be itemised in the quote. The work required depends on what is found; a price should not assume that the fence will pass before it has been inspected.
