ELECTRIC FENCE COC · WATERFALL VIEW
Questions before you book.
Practical answers for owners, sellers and property managers.
What should I clarify if the price is still an estimate?+
Ask what has been assessed, which work the figure includes and what still needs investigation. Agree how a revised price will be provided and approved when those details are known.
Is your electric fence alarming while you are waiting for a quote?+
Tell Wesslink about the current symptom and keep people clear of damaged equipment. Electric fence fault finding should investigate the installation; do not change settings or handle wires to make the problem appear resolved.
What records should I keep after the work is paid for?+
Retain the quotation, approved changes and completed-work description. Where issued, keep the electric fence certificate of compliance with the relevant installation records. Ask for any outstanding items to remain clearly identified.
What if I cannot approve extra repairs during the visit?+
Nominate an authorised contact or arrange how the findings will be considered afterwards. Ask what remains unresolved and what professional follow-up is needed. Do not assume an incomplete installation has been cleared for use.
Who can issue an electric fence certificate of compliance?+
A registered electric fence system installer may issue an electric fence compliance certificate after the required inspection and testing. An ordinary electrical COC is a separate document.
Will the inspection fee include repairs?+
Ask for the inspection, any repairs and any return visit to be itemised in the quote. The work required depends on what is found; a price should not assume that the fence will pass before it has been inspected.
