ELECTRIC FENCE COC · WINDSOR GLEN
Questions before you book.
Practical answers for owners, sellers and property managers.
Can an electric fence compliance certificate inspection proceed before debris is removed?+
Explain the condition and access available. Wesslink can discuss what assessment is possible and what needs arranging first. Any inaccessible or unsafe section must remain clearly identified rather than assumed checked.
Should the earlier electric fence certificate of compliance accompany an insurance enquiry?+
Keep the available document and completed-work records ready for the relevant parties. Explain changes and current findings separately; the earlier certificate does not describe damage that occurred later.
Is your electric fence alarming after material fell against it?+
Keep people clear and report the incident and symptoms. Do not remove the object or adjust wires to silence the alarm. The fence and surrounding damage need the appropriate professional assessment.
Can I ask for reinstatement and upgrade options separately?+
Yes. Request a clear description of necessary repair work and any optional changes. This helps you compare the proposals without treating a preferred upgrade as an established requirement of the damage repair.
Who can issue an electric fence certificate of compliance?+
A registered electric fence system installer may issue an electric fence compliance certificate after the required inspection and testing. An ordinary electrical COC is a separate document.
Will the inspection fee include repairs?+
Ask for the inspection, any repairs and any return visit to be itemised in the quote. The work required depends on what is found; a price should not assume that the fence will pass before it has been inspected.
