PLAN THE REPAIR
What should a stove
repair quote include?
Choose your area above, then send the electric stove, oven or hob model and the fault. Ask about the call-out and assessment charge before booking. Repair work is quoted after the fault has been checked.
The fault and the right part
A cold oven, failed plate and damaged wall switch can require different work. Ask what the assessment found and whether the quote covers the appliance, its connection or both. A brand name alone does not identify a replacement part.
Fitting and any return visit
Ask whether the quoted price includes the part, fitting and any further visit. Confirm parts availability and an expected next step with Wesslink. A photo or an online part listing does not establish the diagnosis or local stock.
Repair or replace
Compare the repair with the full replacement cost, including the new appliance, electrical connection and any cabinet work. If an oven and hob are separate, a fault in one does not automatically mean replacing both. See the stove, oven and hob connection guide when considering installation.
Send only details and photographs that are safely accessible. Leave tripping, shocking or visibly damaged appliances off; do not remove covers or repeat a fault to demonstrate it. Model and parts support must be confirmed. This is an independent electric-appliance service; gas work is excluded.
