ELECTRIC FENCE COC · DAINFERN RIDGE
Questions before you book.
Practical answers for owners, sellers and property managers.
Is Dainfern Ridge the same place as Dainfern Golf Estate?+
No. Dainfern Ridge's own website describes it as next to Dainfern Golf Estate. Use the full estate name so the booking and records refer to the correct property.
May the inspector use the Frederick Road gate?+
The official website identifies that entrance as residents-only. Confirm current contractor instructions with the estate and provide them when booking; do not rely solely on a map's shortest route.
Can my estate agent arrange the visit while I am away?+
Yes, an authorised representative can coordinate an enquiry. They still need the necessary access and a clear instruction from the party responsible for the installation, especially where shared security equipment is involved.
What should I do if the certificate mentions another Dainfern estate?+
Send the document for clarification rather than treating the similar name as sufficient. The property and installation described must be reconciled before relying on it for your request.
Who can issue an electric fence certificate of compliance?+
A registered electric fence system installer may issue an electric fence compliance certificate after the required inspection and testing. An ordinary electrical COC is a separate document.
Will the inspection fee include repairs?+
Ask for the inspection, any repairs and any return visit to be itemised in the quote. The work required depends on what is found; a price should not assume that the fence will pass before it has been inspected.
