ELECTRIC FENCE COC · LINBRO PARK
Questions before you book.
Practical answers for owners, sellers and property managers.
Can the fence inspection take place while deliveries continue?+
It may be possible with an agreed site plan, but the inspector needs safe access to the relevant installation. Tell us about vehicle movements so the practical arrangements can be assessed before attendance.
Does a warehouse tenant always own the electric fence?+
No ownership arrangement should be assumed. Ask the landlord or property manager which installation serves the premises and who may authorise work on it.
What if stock prevents access to the rear boundary?+
Disclose that before booking and arrange appropriate clearance through the site team. If the area remains inaccessible, the limitation must be recorded and a complete assessment cannot be claimed for it.
Will the business park's certificate cover my newly fenced yard?+
Send both the existing document and the details of the new work. The relationship between the installations and the certificate scope needs to be checked rather than inferred from the shared park name.
Is your electric fence alarming near a delivery entrance?+
Tell us when the alarm sounds and whether any gate or boundary damage has been reported. Wesslink can inspect the affected section through electric fence fault finding. Ask the site manager to arrange safe access around deliveries and loading activity.
Who can issue an electric fence certificate of compliance?+
A registered electric fence system installer may issue an electric fence compliance certificate after the required inspection and testing. An ordinary electrical COC is a separate document.
Will the inspection fee include repairs?+
Ask for the inspection, any repairs and any return visit to be itemised in the quote. The work required depends on what is found; a price should not assume that the fence will pass before it has been inspected.
